We’ve loved supporting the Bluff Lake Nature Center staff in drawing feedback from BLNC fans big and small, who have shown up at public events and shared their input for the future of this native habitat in Northeast Denver. A 123-acre open space and important gateway to nature for several communities in Denver and Aurora, the Bluff Lake Nature Center is collaborating with Superbloom and Shape Architecture Studio to understand how the surrounding community imagines the future campus and potential improvements through an inclusive community engagement and visioning process.

First, we developed eye-catching visual cues to draw visitors and set up community boards with informative graphics and surveys onsite.

We also held community events at the local library to engage the families in the surrounding neighborhoods and bring awareness to the project and the park.
